In this photo tour to Masai Mara National Reserve, home to The Great Wildebeest Migration, we will be witnessing one of the last mass terrestrial wildlife movements left on the planet with more than 1.5 million wildebeests travel from Tanzania to Kenya. Although, the migration can be seen in both Serengeti and Masai Mara, the timing of this tour is to maximise our opportunity to see the river crossing at the Mara River. No one can predict when the crossings will happen (not even the wildebeests themselves!), but I have been photographing in Masai Mara in September twice and I was able to witness multiple river crossings both times.
Due to the current travel restrictions due to Covid-19 all tours are postponed until further noticed.
Meanwhile, I am offering online photography workshops and help guide you to discover your unique style as an artist. If you are interested learning post processing or curating your social media, please get in touch with me either via Email or Instagram.
This tour is best suited for beginner and intermediate level photographers.
I recommend focal length between 400-600mm.
Personally, I mainly shoot on a 400mm with a 24-70mm on a second body.
I also offer limited camera bodies and lenses for rental.
Most mirrorless and point-and-shoot cameras nowadays are also capable of taking incredible photos.
